Warranty Terms & Conditions: Coverage & Exclusions

Terms and Conditions

Coverage and Transfer ability

  • The CORBY warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Proof of Purchase

  • To initiate a warranty claim, present the warranty card and valid proof of purchase to Authorized Service Personnel. Keep the original invoice and warranty card secure.

Repair and Replacement

  • If your product requires repair or replacement beyond the 30-day return period and no local authorized service center is available, send the product to CORBY’s warehouse. You are responsible for the one-way courier fee. CORBY will cover parts, labor, and return delivery costs.

Exclusions

  • Warranty does not cover:
    • Negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation, accidents, mineral deposits, corrosive materials, misapplication, improper maintenance, or alterations.
    • Use of abrasive cleaners, steel wool, wire brushes, or abrasive pads.

Additional Costs

  • Labour fees for removal and re-installation, as well as incidental or consequential damages, are not covered.

Replacement and Repair

  • CORBY and its service centers may retain replaced parts. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished.
  • Replacements are at CORBY’s discretion and will be of similar or comparable models if the original is discontinued. Color or pattern matching is not guaranteed.
  • Non-warranty repairs will be charged for parts and labor.

Timeliness and Liability

  • Repairs are made as promptly as possible, but no time frame is guaranteed.
  • CORBY is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from product defects beyond the warranty coverage.

Exclusions

  • Warranty does not cover demonstration, assembly, washers, rubber, springs, plastic products, or additional accessories.
  • After one year, non-manufacturing defects will incur normal labor and component fees.

Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes must be resolved through mediation before any legal action. Jurisdiction is exclusively in Delhi’s courts.

Pre-Installation Responsibilities

  • Ensure existing water supply pipelines are clean and free of debris before installing new faucets.

RO Water Disposal

  • Avoid disposing of reverse osmosis (RO) reject water in regular sinks or drains. It is corrosive and should be drained directly into the appropriate waste system.
