Coverage and Transfer ability
- The CORBY warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Proof of Purchase
- To initiate a warranty claim, present the warranty card and valid proof of purchase to Authorized Service Personnel. Keep the original invoice and warranty card secure.
Repair and Replacement
- If your product requires repair or replacement beyond the 30-day return period and no local authorized service center is available, send the product to CORBY’s warehouse. You are responsible for the one-way courier fee. CORBY will cover parts, labor, and return delivery costs.
Exclusions
- Warranty does not cover:
- Negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation, accidents, mineral deposits, corrosive materials, misapplication, improper maintenance, or alterations.
- Use of abrasive cleaners, steel wool, wire brushes, or abrasive pads.
Additional Costs
- Labour fees for removal and re-installation, as well as incidental or consequential damages, are not covered.
Replacement and Repair
- CORBY and its service centers may retain replaced parts. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished.
- Replacements are at CORBY’s discretion and will be of similar or comparable models if the original is discontinued. Color or pattern matching is not guaranteed.
- Non-warranty repairs will be charged for parts and labor.
Timeliness and Liability
- Repairs are made as promptly as possible, but no time frame is guaranteed.
- CORBY is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from product defects beyond the warranty coverage.
Exclusions
- Warranty does not cover demonstration, assembly, washers, rubber, springs, plastic products, or additional accessories.
- After one year, non-manufacturing defects will incur normal labor and component fees.
Dispute Resolution
- Disputes must be resolved through mediation before any legal action. Jurisdiction is exclusively in Delhi’s courts.
Pre-Installation Responsibilities
- Ensure existing water supply pipelines are clean and free of debris before installing new faucets.
RO Water Disposal
- Avoid disposing of reverse osmosis (RO) reject water in regular sinks or drains. It is corrosive and should be drained directly into the appropriate waste system.
